On the editing side, she acquired and developed rock star Tom Petty’s as-told-to biography, the award-winning Conversations With Tom Petty. Several other books she’s edited have won Independent Publisher Book Awards (IPPY).

Andrea previously held senior-level editorial positions with Pro Sound News, Musician, Small Business Computing, and ASPCA Animal Watch magazines.

She is the past treasurer of the New York chapter of Women’s National Book Association and a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA).
