Authors: don’t write your book proposal without searching Books in Print first for competitive and complementary titles! You can find BIP at your local library or you can subscribe on line. Your publisher will input your book’s information into BIP when the time comes. From there, Bowker feeds the data to many other industry databases, including Barnes & Noble, Borders, Powell’s Books, and others.
