NYC ’06 Pitch and Shop: A First-Novel Pitch Conference
This conference is not about the art or craft of writing. Instead, participants get the opportunity to pitch their novel to acquisition editors who represent a variety of genres, including literary, general commercial, chicklit, women's fiction, mystery/crime/thriller, historical, YA, and SF/F. All of them have worked with top authors and most work with more than one genre. Only 45 participants are accepted and the fee is $500.
